From the founder
I grew up on a tiny island in British Columbia. About a thousand people, year-round.
Our neighbours kept horses. They grazed in the meadows and stole apples right off the trees. We visited often, and eventually took riding lessons from the family up the road. That is where it started.
Since then, horses have stayed with me. A bit of Western, a bit of English, always the hobby I loved most. Then came the corporate world, tech, consulting, and horses got harder to hold onto. Not because the love faded, but because everything around it did. The cost of lessons, the logistics, the fragmented way you find a stable, a trainer, a horse for lease. Access should not be this hard for a community this devoted.
Horses are some of humanity's oldest companions. The people who care for them deserve a place to gather that matches that. One platform, for every level of rider, every discipline, every need.
That is what Equine Futures is. Being built right now, and I would love for you to follow along.
